MIA mobile equipment regulation

MIA mobile equipment scheme

Effective January 1, 2022, the subsidy percentages of the MIA will be increased. The MIA ensures that it is possible to deduct an additional amount from the taxable profit when purchasing an asset included in the Environmental List. Electrically powered mobile equipment has also been added to this list this year. This includes our electric excavators.

Electric excavators fall under the highest subsidy rate which has increased in 2022 from 36% to 45%.

The maximum budget for the MIA will be expanded by €30 million per year for the period 2022-2024. As a result, the budget for 2022 is € 144 million. When the budget runs out, it will no longer be possible to make use of the MIA. So if you want to make use of this MIA scheme make sure you make the investment in time.
