Metalworking machines from DAUB Manufacturing in online auction

Due to a change in business activities, DAUB Manufacturing is offering all its redundant metalworking machinery in an online auction through the platform of Troostwijk Auctions. The auction is currently open for bids. The auction will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

In recent decades, in addition to building machines for the food industry, DAUB Manufacturing has specialized in machining semi-finished metal and plastic products. The semi-finished products the company then uses again in building machines, the final product. In 2021, DAUB Manufacturing chose to outsource the production of semi-finished products. This allows the company to focus more on building and developing finished products. The part of the production line that becomes surplus as a result, DAUB Manufacturing is offering it in an online auction at Troostwijk Auctions in order to give the machines a second life.

Machining centers, machines and tools 

The auctioneer emphasizes that in addition to the plus of sustainability and circularity - the machines get a second life - it is also a great advantage for the buyer that the machines in this auction are immediately available. With new machines, there is a considerable waiting period in the current market.

"This auction includes two young Mazak Variaxis i-800 CNC machining centers. One is from 2018 and the other from 2016. These represent a considerable value on the market. In addition to the newer machines, the offer also includes a machining center from 1999 (an OKUMA MA-600HB) and a machining center from 1991 (a mazak H-630). There are also several conventional metalworking machines, such as a band saw, a radial drill, a cross-cut circular saw, welding equipment and various measuring and milling tools from DAUB Manufacturing's workshop. The entire workshop will be offered for sale through the auction," said the auctioneer.
