A new series of trucks from Linde Material Handling (MH) will be unveiled at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart. The Linde Ri14 to Ri18 models are designed for low- to medium-intensity logistics operations. These reach trucks offer a combination of affordability, targeted performance, ergonomic advantages and comprehensive safety features. In addition, they are ideally suited for use in distribution centers and retail environments, as well as in the food, automotive and chemical industries. Their compact design with an integrated lithium-ion battery makes them ideal for use in narrow aisles. Optional upgrades, including ‘PowerDrive’ and ‘PowerLift,’ are available to improve travel and lift speeds. This results in improved productivity for customers. In addition, the trucks are equipped with a variety of safety features. These include the standard all-wheel braking system and a shoulder guard. The operator's workplace offers extensive comfort with full chassis decoupling, excellent all-round visibility, extra space and versatile adjustability. Digital interfaces allow the reach trucks to be seamlessly integrated into operational IT systems, and the modular design allows custom solutions to be created.
“The new reach trucks, with load capacities from 1.4 to 1.8 tons, complement Linde MH's existing range. They are aimed at the growing number of companies looking for compact, maneuverable trucks for single- and
two-shift operations. Such trucks must be economical to purchase, of high quality, powerful, safe and comfortable for operators,” explained Alexander Schmidt, Senior Product Manager at Linde MH. “The Linde Ri reach trucks combine all these features, making them an excellent choice for warehouse storage operations.”

Linde Ri reach trucks have a length of 1,215 millimeters (excluding forks), a required aisle of 2,709 millimeters and lift heights of up to 11 meters. They can be equipped with the optional PowerDrive and PowerLift features to improve performance when handling goods. These options increase travel speed by 18 percent and lift speed by 16 percent, setting new performance standards for this class of trucks. Two mast series provide high lift capacity. Mast functions are operated ergonomically and with millimeter precision via Linde Load Control. Operators can quickly and easily control travel direction and speed with the Linde dual pedal control or single pedal control with switch. For multi-shift use, a lithium-ion backup battery is available to ensure continuous truck availability.
The comprehensive safety package focuses on protecting the operator, the goods and the environment. A key competitive advantage is the standard hydraulic wheel brakes on all three wheels, which ensure short braking distances, regardless of the weight of the load or the position of the mast. This gives the operator maximum control over the truck. Another standard feature is the Linde Curve Assist. This system automatically adjusts the travel speed when cornering based on the steering angle, increasing truck stability. The raised seating position improves the driver's view of the load and surroundings. Optional features such as a reinforced glass roof, shoulder protection and innovative assistance systems such as
the Linde Safety Guard, which warns of possible collisions, and the Rack Protection Sensor, which prevents collision damage to racks, provide additional protection.

The driver's workstation is completely decoupled from the chassis, effectively absorbing shock and vibration. This helps prevent premature fatigue. Together with the suspension-mounted operator's seat, the cab effectively absorbs shocks and vibrations for the operator. Components such as the steering wheel, seat and optional height-adjustable pedal plate can be individually adjusted to the operator and provide a relaxed working position. The low, wide step with non-slip surface makes it easier for operators to get in and out of the truck safely and frequently during daily operations. Numerous compartments provide ample storage space.
The reach trucks' rugged design, combined with maintenance-free components such as induction-hardened mast guide rails, ensures high availability and durability while lowering operating costs. All service-related components are easily accessible, reducing maintenance time. Thanks to modern electronics, software updates and new truck functions can be installed remotely over the airwaves. The standard integrated 14.3 kWh lithium-ion battery is particularly energy-efficient and can be replaced with a more powerful 21.4 kWh battery as performance requirements increase.
