“PASSION FOR DETAILS - Discover the Difference” is the theme of LogiMAT 2026, which will open its doors in a few weeks at the Messe Stuttgart trade fair and convention center. From March 24 to 26, more than 1,600 exhibitors from over 40 countries will present a wide range of innovations, product launches and state-of-the-art solutions for efficient and sustainable intralogistics processes, supported by an attractive fringe program. This year's trade fair is again fully booked and covers all ten exhibition halls and the entire East Entrance of Messe Stuttgart, accounting for a total of more than 120,000 square meters of exhibition space.

“The unique combination of important technological developments and innovative products, together with excellent networking opportunities and a content-rich fringe program, will again make LogiMAT the trade fair of choice for leading logistics professionals in 2026,” said Michael Ruchty, LogiMAT fair director at organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH of Munich. “Anyone who wants to modernize their intralogistics with an eye on sustainability will find plenty of inspiration in Stuttgart.” In line with the annual theme, many exhibitors emphasize details that are often overlooked, but which actually distinguish smart solutions and offer new perspectives for well-considered investments. “Driven by global trends such as automation, digital transformation and sustainability - and by the continuing shortage of qualified personnel - the focus in almost all segments is on flexibility, scalability, AI integration and robotics,” adds Ruchty.

Clear

The exhibition halls are again clearly arranged by segment. Manufacturers of storage systems and equipment, system integrators and providers of internal transport technology can be found in Halls 1 (including the gallery), 3, 5 and 7. Presented here include an innovative honeycomb-based storage and picking system, flexible robo-pick solutions, storage system shuttles, new and improved service robots for unhindered internal transports and refined details in proven storage and sorting technologies. An additional trend, in addition to the well-known cloud-based subscription models in the software sector, is the increasing possibility of renting or leasing hardware for process automation. This lowers the threshold for SMEs in particular to get started with intralogistics automation. In Halls 7 and 9, manufacturers are also showing the latest systems and components in the areas of cranes, gates, loading technology and fire protection.

Alternative drive systems

Halls 8, 9 and 10 are dedicated to intralogistics mobility. Virtually all leading manufacturers of industrial vehicles are present in Stuttgart in March. Halls 9 and 10 are filled with innovations in the field of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and alternative drive systems. Among others, visitors will get a preview of new models of classic industrial trucks with integrated lithium-ion batteries and lifting capacities from 4 to 7 tons, a new electric counterbalance forklift up to 2 tons (available as a 3- or 4-wheeler) and an innovative autonomous robo-picker. The range of new accessories and components includes a camera system with active warning and assistance technology, breakthroughs in more stable and safe lithium batteries integrated into robotic systems, biometric access systems for next-generation forklifts and an improved telemetry system for warehouse trucks.

Specialized manufacturers of AGVs, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and carrybots are concentrated in Hall 8. For these now mature technologies, the main focus is on AI integration for optimized fleet control and transportation performance, as well as further warehouse safety improvements through machine vision and sensor technology. The Mobile Robotics User Forum in the gallery of Hall 6 offers in-depth insight into these topics and provides potential buyers with independent advice from Forum-FTS experts. Hall 6 is further dominated by suppliers of packaging, packaging machines and containers. The focus here is on sustainability, with reduced material use, appropriately packaged solutions, circular concepts and reusable packaging. Manufacturers will also show the latest high-performance packaging lines and strapping machines with optimized energy and material consumption and high throughput.

Innovative scanners

Manufacturers from the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) segment will present their latest products and solutions in Hall 2. At a time of rapidly evolving technologies, AIDC companies are systematically combining AI, next-generation sensor technology and machine vision into smart solutions for labeling, coding and data collection, with efficiency gains in virtually all application scenarios. Offerings range from innovative scanners to RTLS and RFID solutions to new materials for single-use and reusable labels, e-paper and radio-controlled e-labels.

Automation, capturing and processing analog information and controlling systems and processes are the core area of software. In Hall 4, specialized software developers will present their latest warehouse management solutions alongside machine builders and system integrators. New software products feature integrated AI models for reliable analysis and forecasting, cloud applications and increasingly flexible scalable subscription models for warehouse management and control systems.

“Visitors to LogiMAT 2026 can once again count on hundreds of European and global product launches across all industry segments,” promises exhibition director Ruchty. “It is a unique total package, with a conference-worthy fringe program of 25 renowned Expert Forums in two locations, Exhibitor Insights, the new Smart Maintenance Lounge, LogiMAT CareerDay, the popular Tracking & Tracing Theatre around AIDC technologies, the Cargo Securement Event Space and the Mobile Robotics User Forum. In challenging market conditions, LogiMAT provides an ideal platform for solutions and the show serves as an important indicator of emerging trends and sustainable innovations.”
