Infra Relatiedagen 2020 remains undiminished popular with over 16,000 visitors

The 21st edition of Infra Relatiedagen on 4, 5 and 6 February 2020 was successful, exhibition organizer Easyfairs announced. More than 360 exhibitors - spread across all seven exhibition halls - presented themselves to 16,254 professionals in Evenementenhal Hardenberg. Among them also over 200 students who, for the second year in a row, were actively invited by the organization to get acquainted with the infrastructure sector. During the fair, 106 exhibitors immediately registered for the 2021 edition of Infra Relatiedagen. "It was a successful edition! The fair looked great, thanks to the exhibitors. Furthermore, we were very satisfied with the high visitor quality," said Roos op't Holt on behalf of Infra Relatiedagen.

Once again, the three-day trade fair had nothing to complain about in terms of interest. Op't Holt: "Exhibitors were continuously talking to visitors. That is a good sign and also in the conversations with exhibitors they indicated to have experienced a successful fair. We are very pleased with that. The exhibitor field consisted of more than 360 exhibitors in total, including familiar names such as Heijmans Infra, Sallandse Wegenbouw, Kijlstra, TWW, KWS Infra, BAM Infra, Wavin, Wynmalen & Hausmann, Hans van Driel & De Kemp Group, Strukton Civiel, BTE Group, SPIE Smart City, Signify Philips Lighting, Pon Equipment, Syntera and Morssinkhof Group."

In 2019, all exhibition halls were clustered by segment for the first time, allowing visitors to visit the fair in an even more focused and efficient manner. The clustering of the exhibition halls was also well received this year. Op't Holt: "We received many compliments about a better throughput and good distribution in terms of visitors in the halls. Furthermore, no fewer than 24 exhibitors took part in the Innovation Route. Many exhibitors had registered just before the fair, which shows that there may still be room for further expansion in 2021. The knowledge program on the second day of the fair was also well received. These are initiatives that we will roll out further in the future. And let's not forget the networking drinks on Wednesday evening, which were incredibly enjoyable with more than 70 exhibitors. This fits perfectly into the picture of Infra Relatiedagen as a relationship fair par excellence!"

For the second year in a row, the first exhibition day of Infra Relatiedagen was renamed the "Future Day. This initiative ensures the connection between education and practice. Op 't Holt: "To the great satisfaction of both exhibitors and students. Students are the future, so it is very important to get them excited about the infrastructure sector at an early stage. We try to do that on the one hand by inviting them to Infra Relatiedagen and on the other hand several exhibitors also cooperate by welcoming them to their stands. This is greatly appreciated by the students, teachers and educational institutions."

It was the first edition of Infra Relatiedagen where every visitor received a badge containing a special chip: the smartbadge. With this badge, the visitor could scan exhibitor stands in which he or she was interested and would like to receive more information. After the exhibition visit, the visitor received an e-mail containing the information of all the exhibitors he or she scanned. "There were even exhibitors with several hundred scans, with Gerlasco achieving the most touches as an exhibitor. In particular, the user-friendliness of the smartbadge was appreciated by visitors. Something new always takes some getting used to, but visitors and exhibitors experienced the added value," Op't Holt said.

The next edition of Infra Relatiedagen will be on February 2, 3 and 4, 2021 at Evenementenhal Hardenberg. For more information: www.infrarelatiedagen.nl.
