Transportation and logistics share the same mission: getting the right goods to the right place at the right time. However, this is more difficult than ever before. The right goods are not always available anymore and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find qualified personnel. The Dutch trade fair ICT&Logistics 2023 shows how companies can still fulfill their mission through smart solutions. You, too, are welcome at the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Utrecht on November 8 and 9.
The future of transportation and logistics cannot be predicted. All we can do is make operations more resilient, agile and efficient - Fit for the Future. So this is the main theme of the upcoming edition of ICT&Logistics, with sub-themes including sustainability, automation, robotization, digitization, data-driven logistics and chain collaboration.
ICT&Logistics 2023 offers a broad program in addition to 150 exhibitors to prepare visitors for the challenges of tomorrow. New are the debates organized in cooperation with the Logistics Management Association (vLm). They cover the role of the logistics sector for the Netherlands, labor market challenges and technology as an important factor in e-commerce.
Another first is the Cyber Security Pavilion. The increasing digitization of the logistics chain increases the impact of cyber attacks. The Cyber Pavilion offers practical insights to increase cyber security. And in the new Start-Up Pavilion, eight start-up companies will present their innovations. Furthermore, the trade show is also launching "Empowering Zero-Emission. This challenge challenges students to come up with innovative ideas in the context of the major changes the energy transition will bring to cities and the transportation network.
The keynote program on the mainstage is the flagship event of ICT&Logistics. Here, inspiring speakers talk about essential topics shaping the future of logistics. In six themed theaters, you can gain new insights on topics such as data-driven logistics, logistics automation, digital transformation and technology trends. The Supply Chain Theater and the Slimstock Theater are also back on the exhibition floor.
With "The Logistics Speeddate," Jong Logistiek Nederland (JLN) is bringing companies, students and young professionals into contact with each other in an approachable way on November 8. The speed dates last ten minutes each.
In addition, TLN tours by Transport & Logistiek Nederland (TLN) are once again available. The tours include office and planning, vehicle, fleet management, telematics and warehouse management. And Logistiek Digitaal will also offer support again this year: during ICT&Logistics 2023, network consultants will assist SMEs with digitization issues so they are ready for the future. ■
