It's the season of dealer awards again, and this time it's Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe's turn to look back and reward its dealers for some amazing achievements in 2021.
Based in Tessenderlo, Belgium, Hyundai supplies more than 30 countries in Europe through a network of more than 140 dealers.
Another tough year, but Hyundai dealers still delivered
Dealers' level of support and service to Hyundai often goes beyond what is expected, and despite another difficult year, with supply shortages on top of the pandemic, dealers posted incredible results with record sales of construction equipment.
The list below shows the 2021 Hyundai category winners:
Winner: Taylor & Braithwaite Ltd
Reason: Thanks to a fantastic performance in all areas, Taylor & Braithwaite has increased its market share and sales to become one of the most successful dealers in Europe.
Winner: Suomen Telakone Oy
Reason: After the sale of the company to the Finnsiirto Group, Suomen Telakone Oy continues to be successful with a large number of orders, a growing market share and new branches for sales and service, with excellent after-sales performance.
Winner: HBN Hyundai Baumaschinen Nord GmbH
Reason: This hard-working dealership fully supports the Hyundai brand and is constantly looking for new ways to increase sales and market share.
Winner: Lager d.o.o.
Reason: Bearing remains successful with Hyundai's highest volume and sales in Eastern Europe. This has resulted in double-digit market share.
Winner: Machdeal
Reason: Hyundai commends Machdeal for still managing to successfully sell large Hyundai excavators and mini-excavators after 20 years of operation, with a market share of about 20%, despite being 12,000 km away from the EU.
Winner: Edimac srl.
Reason: In recognition of Edimac's tremendous efforts to improve customer service and its strong emphasis on long-term partnerships with their customers.
Winner: G & G Macchine
Reason: For a major effort to further improve the image of the Hyundai brand in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Winner: Whelan Plant Sales Ltd
Reason: Whelan Plant has achieved fantastic results in terms of market share growth. This is partly due to the fact that they began selling Hyundai excavators within their territory.
Winner: Van der Spek-Vianen B.V.
Reason: Van der Spek-Vianen has successfully introduced new working methods to reduce its carbon footprint. Much of this was achieved through modifications to Hyundai machines to make them fully electric.
Winner: Tracto-Lena
Reason: Tracto-Lena organized the Hyundai Challenge 2021, a special skills event for Hyundai operators. It proved to be a professional and well-run event, with good engagement on social media, all of which helped promote the brand.
Winner: Molson Equipment
Reason: Molson successfully hosted 3 open dealer days at their Avonmouth facility and at a quarry in South Wales, with 600 key customers in attendance.
Winner: Axiál
Reason: This award recognizes a dealer who carries the Hyundai brand through team spirit. Axiál is a Hyundai dealer with a long track record, which benefits from regularly organizing team building activities, which really contribute to an absolutely great team spirit.
Winner: Chris Jordon - Taylor & Braithwaite
Reason: Chris had a fantastic sales year for Hyundai, working tirelessly to provide his customers with the best service possible. Chris was also instrumental in helping Taylor & Brathwaite have a record year.
Winner: EMSG Sverige AB
Reason: This award is for a dealer who has modified Hyundai machines to enable sales to new industries or provide new solutions to customers. EMSG was able to install an elevator on a Hyundai crawler excavator for a disabled operator.
Winner: Hyundai Baumaschinen Nord GmbH
Reason: This award is for a dealer who has consistently promoted Hyundai products above all others. Baumaschinen has been doing this for more than 23 years and even opened a second branch in 2019.
Winner: BIURRARENA Sociedad Cooperativa
Reason: Biurrarena receives this award because it has invested heavily in after-sales service with the help of 2 new software packages. The Advanced Maintenance Assistance System provides faster handling of machine problems, while Remote Technical Assistance enables online diagnosis of the machine.
Winner: TOSCOMECCANICA SRL
Reason: Nominated by Hyundai's aftersales team, this award recognizes a dealership that continues to deliver customer service that exceeds expectations.
