On October 17, 18 and 19, we welcomed the entire transportation, logistics, logistics real estate and construction industries. This was thanks to the co-location of Transport & Logistics and Logistic & Industrial Build that took place at the same time. More than 300 exhibitors and partners, nearly 11,000 professionals, 75 keynote speakers and 25 conferences made this edition a great success.
With a successful opening during the Business@Breakfast with a panel discussion on green logistics including Annick De Ridder (Alderman of the Port of Antwerp), the tone of the first day of the fair was set. The sessions moderated by Patrick Luysterman on Blue Gate Antwerp, the 'Logistics Check for The Future' by Montea and VIL, the eComTalk by bpost and many others were also enjoyed by the 900 visitors who found their way to the conference rooms. Thank you to the 75 different industry specialists from the transportation, logistics real estate and construction industries to once again address trending topics that inspired attendees.
As always, there was room for networking at various times such as during the celebration of the Transport & Logistics Gazelles in cooperation with Transportmedia. Congratulations to the various winners of these awards. After the presentation the participants enjoyed a gala dinner by Filip Claeys, 2* chef of the Jonkman in Bruges, as usual.
As icing on the cake, we also closed the second day with the Maritime Pint together with our partner ATC and together we were able to welcome more than 1,000 people. An extra asset, therefore, to bring visitors and exhibitors into contact with each other in a targeted way. Because 2 events taking place simultaneously offer twice as many opportunities.
On the 3rd and final day of the fair, we also lent a hand to the war for talent in the logistics sector by organizing a Job Day together with TL Hub. Lots of job seekers came to take a look and immediately applied to the various companies.
