"As a supplier of construction and demolition equipment for both sales and rental, we were looking forward to being at this large-scale industry event."
DemTech supplies leading brands of attachments and attachments for both the demolition, recycling and infrastructure sectors. Including the Japanese attachments from NPK, the German Bodempers air rockets from ESSIG and the Dutch pile crushers from Taets. "And not to forget the attachments for excavators from Germany's Lehnhoff," Polak adds.
Lehnhoff is known for Deutsche Gründlichkeit. The company is based in the Black Forest, Germany's "toughest" region. "If the products work there, they work anywhere in the world," Polak says. "For the Lehnhoff quick couplings, once you try them, you never want anything else." The quick couplings are not new, but they still set standards. "They are ideally suited for heavy industry, work quickly, simply, reliably and above all safely. They are perfect for use with smaller contractors and earthworkers, a group that is increasingly among our clientele." Polak notes that more and more contractors are doing demolition work in-house, offering a total package.
Another reason the full-hydraulic quick coupler is gaining so much ground, according to Polak, is that for young people, the full-hydraulic quick coupler is as common as their cell phone. "They are no longer used to having to hammer pins out and in with a hammer and disconnect and connect hoses by hand. But employers also realize that it is a time-consuming job that can be done more efficiently and thus more cost-effectively by investing in a full-hydraulic quick coupler." A special feature is the high oil flow (550 liters) without build-up of return pressure, making the quick coupler suitable for 18- to 40-ton demolition cranes. "The advantages? Lower load on the hydraulic system, less fuel consumption, less rapid wear of seals and thus protection of attachments."
DemTech supplies two types of quick coupler system from Lehnhoff: the Variolock, where the hydraulic feedthrough is behind the quick coupler and the well-known S-system, where it is centrally located in the quick coupler. "The S-coupling has the advantage that it allows you to dock 180 degrees rotated, so you can also hydraulically use a tilt bucket when it is docked the other way around. With the Variolock, the advantage is that you have a wide range available in use: from 18-40 tons. It depends a bit on what the customer chooses. We are happy to advise the customer on what best suits the work to be done with it." In addition to good advice, DemTech works with short lines of communication and open communication. "We are also strong in the availability of our equipment and service, allowing us to move quickly. Providing a repair en route or replacement equipment: everything to ensure that the customer can get on with their work," Polak concludes.
