Literally started in 1985 from a garage box and has since grown into an innovator, producer and supplier of technical products in the field of water technology, air treatment and (industrial) filtration technology. Van der Ende Groep produces and supplies a wide range of pumps, accessories and total solutions for the infrastructure sector.
Van der Ende Groep became big in greenhouse horticulture, but over the years it has broadened its scope quite a bit. "Besides agriculture and greenhouse horticulture, we are active in industry and increasingly emphatically in the contracting and infrastructure sector," says product manager Paul van den Berg. "In 2015, we took an important step in this by taking over the dealership of Grindex, an established name in the Netherlands and known for its extremely robust pumps that are also easy to handle. A Grindex pump weighing only 50 kilograms can pump as much as 140 m3/hour." In addition, Van der Ende Groep is the exclusive dealer of Selwood pumps for the Netherlands and Flanders, known for its (mobile) pump sets. The heavy duty applications and silenced casings are characteristic of these pumps.
Pumps for project South America.
According to Van den Berg, activities in the infrastructure sector range from sec supplying pumps to carrying out complete projects. "For example, we kept the Maas Tunnel dry during the renovation. Here we took care of the complete picture, from the pump installations to switch boxes with telemetry. We also supplied the pumps for the Blankenburg Tunnel. Now we are working on a large project in South America, for which we are supplying twelve complete stainless steel Grindex 100 kW pumps capable of pumping 200 m3 up to 20 bar, including 'blast proof' containers and custom made software." His colleague Chris Bogaars adds: "The strength of our company is that we can engineer and produce everything in-house, whether or not according to specifications or even to verbal request. We are quite versatile and have our own panel building, assembly, metal, repair and project department and a huge inventory. This means that we can react or respond quickly to any customer problems. We are hardly dependent on third parties. Contractors and infrastructure companies see this as an important added value; they only have one point of contact. They can also turn to us for know-how and advice."
VDEG - repair and overhaul department
In early 2019, Van der Ende Groep took over the production of Staka pit hatches. "We produce the standard series, but also fully customized if required. A nice complementary addition to our existing range, so that the market of pumps and wells can be served even better," Van den Berg concludes.
