TOBROCO-GIANT delivers the hundredth electric articulated loader to GIANT dealer e-Hartog from Montfoort. This makes e-Hartog the first dealer to reach this milestone. The success of this number has everything to do with the high demand for the GIANT G2200E and GIANT G2200E X-TRA.
After production started in November 2019, there is increasing interest in the electric wheel loaders. Director Toine Brock: "Whether for construction, demolition or rental companies, landscapers, municipalities or the agricultural sector, we see more and more companies considering switching to an electric GIANT. On the one hand because they can work emission-free and quietly, but certainly also because they are convinced by the performance of the machines. After all, these are not inferior to those of the diesel variant."
"In total we have already produced 600 electric machines and that is a number we are very satisfied with. Currently we offer two models in the 2.2 ton class and then it is good to see that there is so much demand for these machines. Most of the machines go to the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, but we see the numbers in Germany slowly increasing as well. For e-Hartog, it is a great achievement that they have already sold 100 electric GIANTs. In that respect, the company is ahead of the curve when it comes to electric equipment," Toine said.
The transition to compact electric machines is gaining momentum, which is why Den Hartog Bouwmaterieel has launched a new company focused solely on emission-free machines. From completely new premises, e-Hartog offers service and maintenance of electric machines in addition to sales. The company is run by Gert and Els den Hartog's daughter, Rosanne den Hartog, and manager Frank Siteur. Because a new generation of machines requires a new vision and approach.
Rosanne den Hartog: "Our goal is to inform and guide companies from A to Z in the best possible way in the new world of emission-free work. We do this by presenting the widest possible range of machines from purely A-brands. The market for electric equipment is moving incredibly fast." Frank continues, "TOBROCO-GIANT will eventually come out with an electric variant of every model. The choice to become an independent company is motivated by the fact that customers consciously choose electric equipment, each from their own motives."
TOBROCO-GIANT is convinced of a future with electric machines that operate quietly and without emissions. That is why TOBROCO-GIANT offers an attractive financing campaign with 0% interest for the G2200E and G2200E X-TRA as well as a five-year warranty on the battery with unlimited charging.
In addition to these opportunities through GIANT Finance, there are currently several schemes in place to make tax advantaged investments in environmentally friendly technologies. Through the Environmental Investment Allowance (MIA) and the Arbitrary Depreciation of Environmental Investments (Vamil). With the MIA, customers benefit from an investment deduction of up to 36% of the investment amount. This deduction is in addition to the usual investment deduction. With Vamil, it is possible to write off 75% of the investment cost. The timing of this is up to you and provides a liquidity and interest advantage.
