DSV seeds sponsors grass seed for restoration of Malieveld after farmers' protest.

The grass on Malieveld is robust and can take a beating. But two protest days with hundreds of tractors caused damage here and there. Soon, site owner Staatsbosbeheer was approached by several organizations and companies from the agricultural sector to help restore the Malieveld. DSV zaden Nederland B.V. was one of them.

'Since we support the farmers and also have an adequate solution in terms of grass mixture we are happy to cooperate in the restoration of the Malieveld' said Steven Wiersema DSV seeds Netherlands

The Forestry Commission greatly appreciates these gestures. After all, the Malieveld is traditionally the place where people gather to have their voices heard or to have fun. Users can be expected to treat it with neatness and respect.

Support recovery

In addition to DSV seeds, contractors AH Vrij, Lemken Nederland B.V., Swinkels Landbouwmechanisatie, Barenbrug seeds Agractie, the organizer of the first demonstration: the Dutch Association of the Animal Feed Industry (Nevedi), the Dutch Association of Traders in Straw, Fourages and Related Products (Hisfa), among others, will support (financially) the recovery.

Edge restoration work cannot begin until spring when the area becomes less wet and temperatures begin to rise again. Again, DSV seeds will assist with that with a solution for this particular location.
