Conveyor specialist offers total solutions for material handling

With efficiency and automation becoming increasingly important, optimizing intralogistics processes is crucial. When it comes to modernizing the logistics sector, Easy Systems, a Belgian conveyor specialist with also a branch in Tilburg, plays a key role. "We can combine our wide range of standard modules into unique customized logistics total solutions," says Sales Director David Taverniers.

In 2007, David Taverniers founded Easy Systems. "We started as a supply company of conveyors for a wide variety of transport systems in all sectors with a production environment," explains the Sales Director. "Over the years, we have thereby increasingly grown into a company that distinguishes itself, among other things, through a combination of internal conveyor systems and automation. Moreover, in conveyor projects, we also integrate weighing units, scanners, label units, box folders and closers, elevators, as well as solutions from Kardex and ABB Robotics. In addition, we work with our subsidiary Aluvice for pick & pack tables, flow racks and picking carts."

Custom

Easy Systems mainly distinguishes itself by a wide range of standard modules ", Taverniers continues. "As a result, we are not tied to one particular type of conveyor in our total solutions. This offers the possibility to combine several types of conveyor systems, regardless of whether it is a roller conveyor or a flat conveyor, for example. This allows us to always respond adequately to the needs of our customers."

Easy Systems provides tailor-made total solutions for end customers in logistics throughout the Benelux. "The starting point here is always our standard modules; we combine and integrate these into unique conveyor systems," Taverniers clarifies a bit further. "Compare it to the Volkswagen Group, for example, which has a suitable solution for every budget within its diverse range of brands. Well, similarly, we realize customization, and that for both a single conveyor belt and complete conveyor systems."

In 2023, Easy Systems entered into a strategic partnership with Boa Concept.

Collaboration with Boa Concept

With its total intralogistics solutions, Easy Systems has already succeeded in optimizing the logistics flow of companies in all kinds of sectors. To further strengthen their position in the logistics sector, Easy Systems entered into a strategic partnership in 2023 with Boa Concept, a French specialist in modular and scalable automation solutions. "Next summer, this will also see us launch a new branch in Canada and further expand our operations in the US," said the Sales Director, explaining how the company's main differentiator is the integration of conveyor technology with various other techniques.

"For example, more and more projects are integrating conveyor technology with automation, among other things. Especially in large-scale projects, this is often done in cooperation with partner companies. At ID Logistics in Tilburg, for example, ABB Robotics was the main contractor; it supplied industrial robots for destacking and order picking the cardboard boxes and sleeves containing capsules. Moreover, our transport systems were integrated with an automatic picking system for e-commerce orders of Nespresso capsules. This practical example shows that for a given total solution it is sometimes necessary to integrate different technologies with each other. As a total material handling supplier, we can provide end customers in logistics with all these specific technologies."

Focus

Easy Systems' service package covers the entire process from advice and engineering to assembly, installation and maintenance. Taverniers gives an indication of the category of logistics customers on which Easy Systems mainly focuses: "We mainly realize projects in the order of magnitude between 25,000 and five million euros. Our maxim here is that in every project at least 50 percent of the project costs must be formed by our conveyors. Because besides automation, this technology is and will remain our main focus and the basis for all our projects," he concludes.
