Automatic quick coupler EC-Oil between quick coupler, pivot and hydraulic attachments now included as standard at Engcon

Back in the spring of 2018, Engcon announced that EC-Oil (the automatic quick-change system for coupling hydraulics, electronics and grease lubrication) would be included free of charge as standard between the machine quick-change and the rotary attachment to simplify the coupling and uncoupling of rotary attachments. A decision that was welcomed by the industry with open arms. Now Engcon is going even further: from April 2019, EC-Oil will also be offered as a free standard coupling between the swivel tilt and hydraulic attachments.

This decision means an excavator operator no longer has to climb out of the cab to connect and disconnect awkward, pressurized and dirty oil couplings. Not for disconnecting the turntable attachment, nor a hydraulic attachment. This makes Engcon the only supplier in the world to offer a complete and unique system as standard.

"During the 2018 launch, I said that this is a small step for Engcon, but a huge step for the excavation industry. This decision became a success! Now we have closed the circle, as the idea of the EC-Oil standard was already included during the first sketches for our new generation of rotary tilters," says Stig Engström, founder and owner of Engcon.

With Engcon's automatic quick-change system, hydraulic, electrical and centrally lubricated connections can be quickly and easily hooked up between the excavator and rotary tilt without having to leave the cab.

Now Engcon also offers free of charge the automatic coupling between Engcon rotary tilt attachments and Engcon hydraulic attachments. Additional hydraulic functions or extra high flow rates are also possible, as Engcon's implement attachment is prepared for one more EC-Oil unit.

"We are pleased that among all components, we can now offer automatic quick couplings as standard to our end users. This is because we want to offer our end users a better and safer working environment, while working more efficiently and making more money. We want to keep improving excavators, so this development is a natural fit," said Stig Engström's concluding comments.

The EC-Oil offer is valid from April 1, 2019 and means in brief:
When ordering a Q-Safe implement/machine attachment and a swivel tilt with control system DC2, the EC-OIL automatic quick-change system is included free of charge in the machine attachment and on the upper part of the swivel tilt.

Moreover, if you order a hydraulic tool in conjunction with the above combination, EC-Oil is included free of charge as standard in the rotary tilt (from the QS60 onwards, for other sizes this will be introduced over time).
