ASDV trailer semi low loader with wheel wells

Within the ASDV program of trailer semi-low loaders, the Wijchen manufacturer of towed equipment Nooteboom has recently launched an updated version of the ASDV-40-22W. The trailer is now standard equipped with air suspension and an EBS braking system. 

The new ASDV-40-22W semi-low loader is equipped with wheel wells at the front and rear, allowing even larger wheel loaders and mobile cranes to be transported within the permitted clearance height. The 4-axle trailer semi-low loader with double axles at the front and rear has, depending on the version and options chosen, a payload of up to approx. 31.5 tons at
80 km/h. The ASDV-40-22W is multi-purpose, such as for transporting divisible cargo, containers and construction machinery on tracks.

"If necessary, the wheel wells can be easily closed, creating a completely flat loading floor. Removable galvanized supports with integrated loading surface widening and hardwood floor boards are available for this purpose. Optionally, the wheel wells can also be completely filled with hardwood parts," Nooteboom's Johan van de Water reports.

Maximum grip

The wheel pits are equipped with steel cross ribs, which provide maximum grip during entry and exit. The position of the wheel pits also provides optimum weight distribution of the load. The dimensions of the wheel pits are suitable for all common makes and types of wheel loaders with different tire diameters, axle spacings and weights.

"The ASDV-40-22W trailer semi low loader is exceptionally strong and guarantees excellent torsional rigidity," says Van de Water. "The chassis has an exceptionally durable preservation and is completely galvanized. This increases the life of the trailer and contributes to a higher residual value. The high quality is further reflected in the use of only high-quality A-brand components, including SAF axles, Hella lighting, Goodyear tires and Wabco braking system."
The trailer has complete standard equipment, including folding consoles in the loading area, and can be optimized with the available options as desired.
