Maximum energy efficiency, user-friendly design and a proven range of equipment are the features customers can expect from the latest generation of skip cranes. The all-new 835 G is equipped with the latest generation of motors, the innovative Green Hybrid energy recovery system and decades of experience from SENNEBOGEN engineers.
This machine is much more than a new edition of a classic; the SENNEBOGEN 835 G Hybrid is the first of a completely new generation of skip cranes. Ten years after the launch of the highly successful E Series, the Bavarian machine manufacturer is taking another big step. The G Series combines experience in the demanding transshipment world with a new, future-oriented generation of machines.
With this new version of the popular 835, SENNEBOGEN has immediately dared to design an absolute all-rounder in material handling. With equipment lengths of up to 20m, it is aimed at applications in scrap and wood processing and port operations. As usual, SENNEBOGEN's modular principle allows for customization using numerous undercarriage variants; from mobile undercarriages to tracks and stationary solutions.
The 835 G includes an economical 188 kW Stage V diesel engine. The engine power is complemented - for the first time in this category of machines - by the Green Hybrid energy recovery system, which significantly increases the overall performance of the system. As a result, the machine gains working speed and operator performance is improved even with lower consumption. Specifically, it reduces fuel costs by about 30%. The system itself acts as a tensioned spring that supports the movement of the boom. So the components, a third hydraulic cylinder on the boom and a nitrogen accumulator at the rear, are not only safely installed but also virtually maintenance-free.
The theme of efficiency runs like a thread through all the innovations of the G Series. The efficiency of the transfer crane was further increased and the hydraulics were completely reworked - every hose guide, every diameter, every valve and all flow cross sections were examined and optimized. All this makes the hydraulic system work with as little resistance as possible.
In the further development of the new generation, much attention was paid to the drivers and maintenance personnel. The new Maxcab is used for the first time in the new series. The operator's workplace has been optimized and all settings can be adjusted comfortably via the new layered keyboard and SENCON screen. The climate controls and airflow have also been optimized, as have the storage compartments. Some of the proven features remain; the sliding door for easy entry and the ergonomic joysticks. The new continuous front and side windows offer an unobstructed view of the surroundings. The design and kinematics of the cab raise have been further improved, allowing the operator to raise the cab even more comfortably. The cab can be moved infinitely over a height of 2.8m and optionally up to 3.5m - more is virtually impossible.
SENNEBOGEN has also optimized all aspects of service and daily maintenance. Components are even more accessible and work is made easier thanks to a clearly structured machine design and central maintenance points. Numerous platforms and handles ensure the highest safety for man and machine.
Of course, as usual, the 835 G Hybrid is also still available in the electric version. With this too, operating costs can be reduced to 50%. The environmentally friendly, emission-free electric motor ensures quiet and vibration-free operation even in the most demanding situations.
