Brokk introduces another new machine. This follows the introduction of four new models last year, expanding the Brokk SmartPowerTM range. The new BROKK 70 is the solution to demolition in very tight spaces in a safe, machine-like and efficient way. Compared to its predecessor, the Brokk 70 has more than double the demolition force, it comes with the latest innovative Brokk SmartPowerTM technology and a precise hydraulic system.
The Brokk 70 is proof of Brokk's technical advances over the past decade. It takes Brokk's signature expertise to build maximum power into a small package, up to and including the world's smallest demolition robot. Brokk SmartPowerTM's innovative electric drive system increases power from 5.5 kW to 9.8 kW and enables the demolition robot to double the power of its predecessor. In all, this leads to an increase of more than 100% in demolition power over its predecessor, the Brokk 60.
The combination of Brokk SmartPowerTM technology and Brokk's improved hydraulic design results in smoother and more precise movements, making the machine operate more accurately and faster than ever before. In addition, the machine's more powerful hydraulics and updated mechanics allow it to carry and handle heavier and more powerful attachments.
The Brokk 70 comes with a number of new attachments. The new Brokk BHB105 hammer weighs more than 100 kg and can be supplied with advanced features such as water misting to suppress dust and external cooling by compressed air for working in higher ambient temperatures. The new Brokk BDC40 is the first cutter for the smallest segment of demolition robots. And the new Brokk G32 demolition sorting grapple is the tool of choice for dismantling.
Yet the Brokk 70 retains the same extremely compact dimensions as its predecessor. All this power and technology comes in a package that weighs only 560 kg, fits through the narrowest doorways and can be transported in a regular passenger elevator. More importantly, it still operates on an electrical connection with 16 amp plugs.
"The Brokk 70 takes the power-to-weight ratio of demolition robots to new heights, made possible by the unique Brokk SmartPowerTM technology. With its compact dimensions, it is truly a machine that removes all need for manual demolition work," says Martin Krupicka, CEO of the Brokk Group.
