C2C Construction Group organizes seminar & debate - The sense and nonsense of material passports!

On Friday morning, October 4, Cradle to Cradle Bouwgroep is organizing a seminar & debate on material passports for architects, designers, owners, developers and construction professionals at Information Center Sustainable Building (IC DuBo) in Rotterdam. The seminar aims to inform participants about the various material passports through pitches from progressive companies, among others, led by chairman of the day Udo Waltman (director SGS Search). Debate leader and BNR news radio presenter Maarten Bouwhuis will supervise the debate following the seminar.

Material passports and the run-up to a fully circular economy
Leading up to a fully circular economy in 2050, material passports are increasingly coming into the picture and the number of companies investing in them is growing. Material passports aim to generate value by mapping products and materials at different levels and making them available to the right parties at the right time. In addition, they can provide insights into the components of the material and whether they are healthy and safe. The key question is whether and which material passport is the right tool for "securing" a circular and healthy construction project. In the seminar & debate, construction professionals and guest speakers will share knowledge and experience and discuss the pros and cons of these passports.

The program & registration
This morning's program is efficiently designed and ends with a communal lunch so that, after contributions by, among others: Madaster, EPEA, Circular IQ, Cradle to Cradle Bouwgroep, Van Wijnen Bouw, Montea Vastgoed and engineering firm Sweco, there is ample room for networking. Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be one step further in their approach to fully circular construction.
