Since Atlas-Service Vaassen considers service of paramount importance, clients can not only purchase and sell machines or equipment, but also machine maintenance, repair, parts, air conditioning service, hose pressing, on-site service and BMWT inspections. As an RDW-approved company, Atlas-Service Vaassen is involved with clients and stands for reliable, realistic and clear advice. "We strive for continuity for our clients. By thinking with them during purchase, maintenance and replacement and sharing our experiences," says owner Klaas Reuvekamp. "In more than 40 years, a lot of knowledge has been accumulated and we regularly retrain through courses and training from the manufacturer or importer."
Atlas-Service Vaassen was founded in 1979 by Frits van IJzendoorn, who used a van to visit numerous contracting and earthmoving companies. A few years later he rented space at a local mechanization company for repairs and where the sale of new or used machines, mainly of the Atlas brand, also began. In 1991, service mechanic Albert Witteveen was hired, who was already helping Frist on Saturdays and in his spare time. In December 2004, the company was taken over by Klaas and Anja Reuvekamp. Klaas, already working from the age of sixteen, started in agricultural mechanization and a few years later in earthmoving machinery. First as a service mechanic, later as a salesman.
Once at Riezebosweg 3 in Vaassen, the adjacent land came up for sale, on which the existing premises were expanded with a new building including an overhead crane and underfloor heating. In 2016, Henri Reuvekamp, the son of Klaas and Anja, joined as a service technician. Henri could be found in Vaassen on Saturdays and all his free time. He also got all the necessary diplomas or certificates and is keeping up with knowledge, just like Albert and Klaas.
Atlas-Service Vaassen does not stand still and is always working to keep up with the times with renovation of the premises, but especially for the technical demand and the latest developments is regularly retrained, training and courses followed. A spacious and fully equipped workshop offers the possibility to provide good service based on many years of knowledge and experience. Using well-equipped service trucks, on-site service is carried out to minimize downtime of earthmoving machines.
Klaas Reuvekamp: "We think along with the user during purchase, maintenance and replacement. Continuity is important for the customer. This of course includes the necessary service and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and attachments. Atlas-Service Vaassen is BMWT-Keur certified, one of the largest recognized safety inspection labels for earthmoving machines and wheel loaders. We also advise clients on attachments in order to carry out work more efficiently. Think of swivel attachments on new and used machines or building up different functions. In this way, the operator experiences even more comfort."
