Company clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are hugely important in the GWW, infra, transport and logistics industries. But for companies that use them on a daily basis, it is something they want to be relieved of. And that is exactly what HKV Ochten does. Bert Oomen, account manager at the family business HKV says, "We supply high-quality products from a very flat organization. Our service level is very high, but we take that very much for granted."
Gerard van der Veer, head of equipment management at GMB, can attest to that. The company recently chose HKV as a total supplier for all its industrial clothing and PPE. GMB's new positioning was reason for the new clothing line. "We work more and more in RWS territory, "says van der Veer, "so we wanted our corporate clothing to be all fluorescent orange with corn blue -more fluoro yellow corn blue- to have a better look/whole towards the orange RWS clothing. " With a huge diversity of disciplines within GMB, there are at least as many needs in terms of corporate clothing. "What one person likes, another doesn't like. We want to meet as many needs as possible, but within one corporate image. And then HKV is the place to be!"
Personal attention to individual needs
"HKV pays attention to our people. Bert Oomen goes out independently to identify the wishes of the wearers of the clothing. With the comments from the field he goes to work and translates this into garments with not only the right fit, but also with the right adjustments." Oomen adds: "Sixteen years ago we started our own clothing line where we apply the best elements of existing standard clothing."

Under its own house brand Quest, HKV has already released many clothing specials on customer wishes that are made up with the help of renowned manufacturers. Van der Veer concludes, "Jobs and needs change, and so do the clothes. It's a continuous process in which you really have to work together. That goes extremely well with HKV."
