Our eastern neighbors like to use Europe Racking's Dutch-made warehouse racks. "Our customers are all over Western Europe. When we started more than 40 years ago, we started serving Germany, Austria and Switzerland directly from our neighboring country," says owner and general manager Dirk Dessers. Europe Racking has its own team that handles planning, delivery and assembly in Germany.
Olaf Roth has been working as procurer and sales manager from the Wuppertal site for ten years: "Our racking systems are popular abroad because of their compatibility and the fact that we offer a solution for almost every storage challenge." He continues: "Because we have never modified the design and use highly durable materials, the warehouse racking systems can be added to or modified for decades."
"I have been working within the logistics sector for a long time. When Europe Racking offered me this position ten years ago, I didn't hesitate for a second. The warehouse racks are extremely popular. I know that my Dutch colleagues serve customers who have been reusing our products for decades. So do our customers. The wide compartment and shelf racks are highly appreciated by retail chains and companies that are expanding rapidly. This is particularly due to the long service life and the guarantee that the products can always be reordered. We also see that dealers in used shelving systems like to buy them up. Not only because they are easy to expand and easy to disassemble. They are also easy to convert if one wants to change the layout. For example, in the event of a changed business situation."
A wonderful customer base has also been built up from Germany. "We have a particularly strong presence in the automotive and bicycle industry. Our long-term customers include Knoll and Hennig Fahrzeugteile, which is now part of the American group AAG. A large proportion of the bicycle dealers we work with are members of the German cooperative ZEG. Together they represent as much as fifty percent of the German market," Roth says with justifiable pride. "In the automotive and bicycle industry, multiple racking systems are usually used, including pallet racks, large-shelf racks and shelf racks. Our components have sufficient bearing capacity to build a floor on them. Ideal, now that intermediate floors are increasingly being used due to the sharply increased construction costs."
Europe Racking's warehouse racks are known for their premium appearance. The racks come standard with a high-quality powder coating. "This can be done in any RAL color. If desired, the shelves can also be coated. This service is quite special since not all competitors do this, and certainly not with such a fast delivery time as ours. A coating offers two advantages. On the one hand, it contributes to the professional look of the warehouse, and on the other hand it protects the products and packaging. After all, with galvanized shelves, damage quickly occurs to the more fragile packaging."
"As with you in the Netherlands, we also work with an experienced assembly crew. And not only our warehouse equipment is of high quality, the same certainly applies to our service. Regardless of the country we work in, we make sure that the assembly goes quickly and smoothly."
Its own production facility in the Netherlands ensures that Europe Racking can deliver quickly and cost-efficiently. Europe Racking supplies both standard and customized products and the company has gained experience in virtually all market sectors over the past 40 years. "Many challenges we can solve with products from our standard range and, if necessary, we supplement that with custom work developed and produced in-house," Roth concludes.
