First stop: Hulshout. There is the headquarters of Alphaplan, a top Flemish player in ultra-flat grinding and digital measuring of industrial concrete floors. "Over the past decades we have built up great expertise in this niche. Worldwide, we have already completed hundreds of projects in some 30 countries," says Laura Kunnen, Commercial Director and Partner at Alphaplan. "With our automated grinding machines and extremely precise measuring robots, we realize ultra-flat warehouse and distribution floors for our customers. We do this in numerous sectors: automotive, food, pharmaceutical and, of course, logistics. For example, we help pave the way - or the floor in this case - for continuity in production lines or logistics handling, safe working conditions and efficient transport flows."
