In our country, the companies that specialize in installing sandwich panels are not thick on the ground. In that small pack, Dutry Konstrukt rides at the front. At the beginning of last year, Lucas Dutry took over the helm from his father, who led the family business for more than twenty years and clearly put it on the map.
"Our isothermal panels are used as partitions and ceilings in numerous applications. We are responsible for the assembly of industrial cold and freezer rooms, fireproof and acoustic partitions, and roof and wall cladding. Those activities account for 80% of our sales," said Lucas Dutry. "We derive the remaining 20% from industrial adaptation work. This ranges from sawing, drilling, casting and polishing concrete, to the demolition, demolition and modification of industrial buildings."
"We also assemble our own steel structures, including topping the roof with insulated roof panels. In addition, companies can call on us for asbestos removal, assembly of sectional and high-speed roll-up doors, and impact and collision protection."
Because installing isothermal panels is a niche market and no real training exists for it, Dutry teaches its employees the tricks of the trade itself. Today, about fifteen employees are on the payroll. "Currently we are mainly active in the food industry on the Belgian market. As a small company, we are very flexible and everything is monitored by our people. Only when the finishing touches are in place is a project delivered. By combining our own expertise in both isothermal constructions and industrial adaptation works, we can always offer a total solution to our customer. We buy our panels, made to measure or in stock length, from Isocab and Joris Ide, which are reference names in our sector," says Lucas. A lot of attention also goes to after-sales service. "If necessary, we are there the same day to do a repair, even on weekends and at night. There's always a crew on duty, and often I go with them as business manager."
